Pop-Up Summer Series returns to surf club

December 20, 2017 BY

POINT Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club (PLSLSC) will transform the lawn of its clubhouse into a pop-up restaurant and lawn bar for about two weeks this summer to help raise money and awareness of the club.

Now in its third year, the Pop-Up Summer Series has become a popular tradition that sees the club partner with a food and beverage operator.

The club has announced that Taco Truck will be popping up on the lawn from December 27 until January 14.

Along with raising money and awareness, the club sees the series as a great way to connect with the community over the summer season and all are welcome to visit.

Taco Truck will be open every night (excluding New Year’s Eve) between 5pm and 9pm.

Meanwhile, the ground floor lawn will stay open until 10pm, serving a limited menu of beer and cider – kindly sponsored by Flying Brick Cider.

The menu will include tostadas, tacos and fish and chips.

Food will be fresh and prices will be family friendly.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic rugs and chairs, and entertainment will be available on certain evenings.

The Pop-Up Summer Series will be at the club at 54 Ocean Road, Point Lonsdale.
