Port business directory lands in almost 2,700 letterboxes
THE Portarlington Business Development Association (PBDA) has launched its 2019/20 Directory, which has been delivered to almost 2,700 homes across the town.
Featuring Portarlington’s new CFA fire station, Bellarine MP Lisa Neville and volunteers on the front cover, the directory is highly valued by all residents.
The directory features 212 businesses, 58 community organisations, 32 help services, 14 defibrillator locations, key activities held in the town, plus lots more.
Last year’s PBDA community and business award recipients – the Portarlington Community Bank and Rod Smith – are also included.
PBDA president John Rae said he believed this was the best business and community directory that had been produced and thanked the team led by Greg Ollis, consisting of Michael Chambers, Sarah Crisp, Laurie Waterman and Ashley Andrew.
Mr Rae said special thanks went to Portarlington and Drysdale Community Bank and Port Phillip Ferries, who jointly sponsored the 2019/20 directory.
Laurie Waterman personally delivered the directory to 2,696 homes, an increase of 73 homes on the previous year, while bulk deliveries were also left at 22 Portarlington business outlets.
Mr Rae said planning for the 2020/21 directory had begun.
