Port community to celebrate Christmas by the bay
FAMILIES will get into the Christmas spirit next week during the19th Portarlington Community Carols.
Held at the Port Pier Park on December 15, the event will feature local artist Julie Rock, the Portarlington Uniting Church Choir, Dianne Hutchinson, and Lindsay Noss and Nick Bergin. There will also be a cultural presentation from a local Maori group.
Santa, along with his helpers from the CFA, and will sing a carol or two before handing lollies to all the children of all ages.
The night will end will a special performance by local artist Rick Peacock, along with Gabby and Layla, who will perform a series of classic songs for everyone to sing along to or just sit back and be entertained.
The Portarlington Community Carols are a free event, proudly presented by the combined churches of Portarlington.
Bring your family, friends, picnic rug and chairs and take part in a fantastic night by the bay enjoying the carols leading up to Christmas.
The Portarlington/Drysdale Lions Club will provide food from 6.30pm, while the carols will start at 7pm and conclude at about 9pm.
