AUSTRALIAN Prime Minister Scott Morrison visited Drysdale earlier this week to discuss retiree concerns at a public forum.

Held at SpringDale Neighbourhood Hall, Liberal Corangamite federal member Sarah Henderson also spoke at the forum, which was attended by a full house of supportive older locals.

“I am so proud to be your local member and of course all of the Bellarine is now in my electorate and we have been delivering in spades already ladies and gentlemen,” Ms Henderson said.

“From local sporting facilities, to Murradoc Road with $5 million between St Leonards and Drysdale to make that road safer, and with the absolute backing of the Prime Minister, we have announced $10 million for a 50-metre outdoor pool.

“Because you all know you can’t swim in a feasibility plan, you need a pool to swim in.”
