MORE than 10,000 people flocked to Queenscliff over the weekend for the 26th edition of the Queenscliff Music Festival.

Held in its traditional spot on the Queenscliff Foreshore, the event featured more than 100 Australian and international live acts, entertainers and activations across three days of entertainment.

Kiwi band Coterie hit the stage with energy on Saturday afternoon.

Vaudeville Smash brought the energy on Saturday night.

Festival director Claire Stickland said the weather and vibes really turned it on.

“We are absolutely elated, and happily exhausted. It was hugely successful, so we are feeling great about it.

“To have over 10,000 come to town for the weekend was fantastic and it ended up being perfect festival weather contributing to a great mood.

“All our acts were excellent. Michael Franti kicked off Friday with a whole lot of love. Kasey Chambers packed out the main stage on Saturday night, and The Wiggles did not disappoint on Sunday morning.

“We are rapt with it. Happy artists, happy punters, and I’m a happy festival director.”
