MORE than 10,000 people basked in the borough over the weekend and enjoyed the return of one of the Bellarine’s most loved musical events.
The Queenscliff Music Festival took place across the coastal hamlet, dazzling punters with its plethora of live music and arts.

Friday’s action was spread far and wide, with dancing and merry times in multiple venues.
Tex Perkins and Matt Walker got audiences in the mood, before Little Birdy and King Stingray sailed spectators into the night.

Windy weather could not deter the huge crowds who filled in for the marquee Saturday slot which saw local band Bones and Jones, The Waifs, Cosmic Psychos, The Cat Empire and Thelma Plum take to the stage.
The Cat Empire arguably attracted the biggest flock of the night, with the Lighthouse Stage coming to life with their groovy hits.

Sunday was much of the same, with good vibes coming in thick and fast.
The Pierce Brothers had most out of their seats and into a jig, before indie band The Preatures rocked and rolled with swagger.
Lead singer Isabella Manfredi prompted the audience to get into a good boogie when hit song “Is This How You Feel” rung out loud.
The crowd was split evenly between closing bands The Badloves and American surf rocker Donovan Frankenreiter who both wooed audiences with their laidback and soulful grooves.

Festival organisers have already locked in next year’s edition, which will take place from November 27 to November 29, 2026.
