Queens of the Stone Age to headline Torquay Common festival
INTERNATIONAL rock icons Queens of the Stone Age will be headlining the LOOKOUT Festival in Torquay in Feburary 2024.
The American rockers will be heading down under for the first time since 2018 as part of their “The End Is Nero” tour.
Joining them on the bill at LOOKOUT – which comes to Torquay Common on February 18, 2024 – will be Aussie favourites Spiderbait, The Chats, Pond, Gut Health, and Lola Scott.
LOOKOUT is a live music concert event that celebrates the best of alternative rock with music that has stood the test of time, along with some fresh new sounds on the scene.
Formed by Josh Homme in the 1990s in Palm Desert, California, Queens of the Stone Age has blessed the world with hits from “No One Knows” to “Little Sister,” “My God is the Sun” to “The Way You Used To Do” and everything in between.
“The End is Nero” tour is in support of their acclaimed eighth studio album In Times New Roman which debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts.
The tour is an invitation from band members Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore to celebrate the end of the world.
Queens of the Stone Age would like to encourage “the obscene and the clean, the outcasts and the weirdos, and anyone and everyone in between to attend; this is where you belong”.
All tickets are strictly 18+ and will be sold through Ticketmaster.
The Queens of The Stone Age Fan Club pre-sale will go on sale on tomorrow (Wednesday, October 25) at 11am.
Face to Face pre-sale will be on Friday this week from 12 noon and the general public can grab tickets via Ticketmaster from October 30 at 1pm.
