Queenscliff Kinder joins expanding services

February 6, 2019 BY

BETHANY Kindergarten Services (BKS) has recently expanded the number of kindergartens within its network, with Queenscliff Kindergarten joining the group.

The initiative presents an opportunity to engage with the local community and build on the experiences formally provided to children and their families.

BKS chief executive officer Grant Boyd described this innovative approach as challenging racial, gender and disability prejudice, stereotyping and bias.

“Across both BKS and Bethany Community Services (BCS) we celebrate diversity and support an inclusive environment where people feel empowered and safe.”

BKS will continue to work in close partnership with the Parent Advisory Group and Educators at the service to ensure a high quality, contemporary educational program.

BKS is committed to enabling the delivery of quality early childhood education programs for local children and will work with Educators to embed the anti-bias practices.

This is a commitment Bethany has made for all its early childhood services.

The modern facility at Queenscliff Kindergarten is situated overlooking Swan Bay and provides opportunities for children to learn by the bay and explore a rich array of outdoor learning opportunities, including their community explorers excursions. Children who attend Queenscliff Kindergarten participate in an educational program that develops their love of learning through play.

Queenscliff Kindergarten offers early education programs for both three and four year old children.

Four-year-old programs are free for most concession card and health care card holders. Vacancies for 2019 are available.

Enrolments can be made by contacting the Bethany Kindergarten Services Enrolment Team by phone on 5273 0200 or via email at [email protected].
