Queenscliff Music Festival makes impressive return

THE Queenscliff Music Festival has made a triumphant return to the Geelong region’s festival circuit, with thousands flocking through the gates over three days last week.

Held in its usual spot on the Queenscliff foreshore for the first time in three years, the 2022 edition of the festival sold out ahead of time and featured 12 stages and dozens of artists.

Headliners included Mark Seymour & The Undertow and John Butler on Friday night; Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Baker Boy and The Bamboos on Saturday; and Mia Dyson, Vika & Linda and the Tesky Brothers on Sunday.

QMF organisers were thrilled with the turnout and are now focusing on the second running of sister event By The Pier, which will take place on the same site on March 24-25, 2023.
