Radius Imaging opens the first MRI on the bellarine

Radius Imaging Drysdale is now offering local MRI services to the Bellarine.

Patients will no longer need to leave Drysdale for their MRI examinations with a unit now available at Shop 4, 8 High Street, Drysdale.

The new Siemens MRI comes with a Medicare licence, allowing Medicare eligible MRI scans to be bulk billed.

The Drysdale unit is the latest addition to RADIUS Imaging with services also available at Waurn Ponds and Torquay.

With three MRI units available across Geelong and surrounds, access to appointments has never been easier, with same day appointment availability.

RADIUS Drysdale continues to offer a full range of CT examinations with the latest generation technology ensuring the lowest radiation dose is used at all times with all CT scans and CT injections bulk billed for all patients.

With a radiologist on site, CT and US guided procedures can be completed locally with fast access to these appointments.

RADIUS Drysdale continues to offer diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetric and musculoskeletal examinations, with same day appointment availability.

The x-ray equipment at RADIUS is fully digital, meaning lower radiation dose and faster availability of the images for the radiologist to report and the referring practitioner to review.

Dental x-ray/OPG is bulk billed for all patients and all local dentists are equipped to view the images online, ensuring no delays in your dental treatment.

RADIUS Imaging accepts all valid referrals on any printed or handwritten request forms, allowing the patient to choose their imaging provider.

RADIUS now has six locations across Geelong, Bellarine and the Surf Coast including Waurn Ponds, Corio, Drysdale, Lara, Ocean Grove & Torquay so patients can be accommodated at their most convenient location.
