Roller coaster fun at Anglesea Fair

February 28, 2018 BY

The Anglesea Primary School Twilight Village Fair will be held on March 10 from 4pm-8pm.

The Anglesea Primary School Twilight Village Fair has not only been considered an important fundraiser, but also a community celebration for many years.

It’s a great evening for local and part time residents as well as visitors, to enjoy gourmet food, market stalls, carnival rides and children’s activities within Anglesea.

Held on the Labour Day long weekend in March, this year there will be more than 15 local makers and growers market stalls with handcrafted items, plants, delicious produce and of course the popular home baked cake stall.

Anglesea Primary School Parent Club member Tanya hillman said that the carnival rides were always a winner with the kids.

“Unbelievable new rides will be one of the many drawcards for the younger crowd this year,” she said.

“The Cha Cha and the Wild One roller coaster will make their debut along with the return of the chair-o-plane, animal farm, harley rides and the challenging Meltdown.

“Single ride tickets can be purchased, although buying a Ride Wristband for $20 for children under 5 and $30 for kids over 5 is great value.”

Kids can also look forward to face painting, a second-hand toys and books stall, lucky boxes and snacks of fairy floss, slushies, donuts and more.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, talented local musicians, school students and entertainers will keep toes tapping. This will create a great opportunity to sit down and enjoy meals from an array of food stalls including barbecue, calamari, pulled pork tacos, Asian favourites and sweet treats. Wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available.

Anglesea Primary School is located on Camp Road Anglesea with the Village Fair open from 4pm-8pm on Saturday March 10.
