THE Ocean Grove Bowling Club has just completed the most significant redevelopment in its history — a transformation that has redefined both the club and its place within the Bellarine community.

At the heart of the project is a world-class undercover dome: a 16-rink international standard facility, complete with large LED screens, livestreaming capability, tiered grandstands, and advanced lighting.

This iconic structure delivers an all-weather, year-round environment, positioning Ocean Grove as one of Australia’s premier bowls and community destinations.

The redevelopment extends far beyond the dome itself. Landscaping, expanded parking, upgraded fencing, and improved pathways have enhanced accessibility and amenity, while new technology and audio-visual upgrades enable the club to host events of all sizes.

Future activation zones — including an outdoor deck — will further strengthen the offering as a dynamic hospitality, entertainment, and sporting hub.

A major benefit of the redevelopment is the ability to broaden participation. For members, patrons, and the broader community, the redevelopment elevates the visitor experience from barefoot bowls to local competitions to elite international competitions.
