Rotary club gives a crap about music

May 1, 2019 BY

All profits from the Rotary Club of Queenscliffe’s sale of “Who Gives a Crap” toilet paper will stay in the local community.

THE Rotary Club of Queenscliffe will launch a new community fundraiser initiative tomorrow (Friday) which will help fund musical instruments for all to use.

The club is purchasing individually wrapped “Who Gives a Crap” toilet paper at wholesale and on-selling to residents in Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, in any quantities they require, with free delivery (minimum quantities apply).

“Who Gives a Crap” is an environmentally and socially responsible business which uses quality recycled paper for its products and donates 50 per cent of its profits to developing countries for sanitation projects.

President Karen Pecar said and donated to the Point Lonsdale Primary School Musical Instruments Library.

Ms Pecar said the project had positive ripple effects, as the musical instruments would be used in the school, in other schools and by any member of the community who wished to borrow from the Musical Instruments Library.

The launch will take place on Friday May 3 at Point Lonsdale Primary School at 3pm. Afternoon tea will be served at the conclusion of the launch.

“Who Gives a Crap” toilet paper will be on display at the launch and can be purchased on the day for $1.50 per roll or by the carton (48 rolls).

Credit card facilities will be available.
