Safe Plate Day at Leopold this weekend
Senior Constable Stephen Gambetta from the Geelong Community Engagement Unit with Lions Club of Leopold President John Mitchell and Glen Spokes.
On Saturday, February 17, the Geelong Police, Leopold Lions Club and Geelong Neighbourhood Watch will team up for a Safe Plate Day at Leopold’s Bunnings Store.
Changing vehicle number plate screws to anti-theft screws reduces the theft of number plates, which are used by criminals in the commission of serious offences.
A gold coin donation will go to the Leopold Lions Club.
The Safe Plate Day will run from 10am to 1pm.
