Saint Ignatius farewells Year 12 students

December 8, 2017 BY

YEAR 12 students from Saint Ignatius College at Drysdale were applauded as they attended their final school assembly.

Students and families were at a graduation mass, which was followed by the opening of the VCE Visual Arts exhibition in the College Art Gallery.

During the assembly, college captains Kelsey Notting and Greg Lewis spoke on behalf of the Year 12 cohort, followed by the passing of the lit college candles by them to the new college captains for 2018.

A video was shown of the varied activities of the Year 12 students during the year and there were a number of delightful performances by VCE Performing Arts students.

Father Gerard Healy SJ (Jesuit) and Father James Puppady gave farewell blessings to the year 12 students.

The Year 12 celebration day featured a range of organised activities, a Year 12 assembly and a Year 12 lunch with students, their parents and staff.
