THE region’s local CFA fire brigades will be bringing Santa to the Bellarine this Christmas Eve.

In the evening of Tuesday, December 24, brigades across the Bellarine, including Drysdale and St Leonards-Indented Head will be transporting Santa across the peninsula to visit as many children as possible.

The Drysdale run will start at 5pm and make stops in Drysdale, Clifton Springs and Curlewis.

There will be two separate trucks routes: one beginning at Nash Avenue and Condy Street in Drysdale, and another at Shoreline Drive and Bonavista Way in Curlewis.

Drydale CFA captain Brendan McDonald said excitement was high for Santa’s arrival to the Bellarine.

“This is a great tradition that we have been doing for approximately 50 years.

“Our annual Santa run has been growing every year, which is fantastic to see.

“We love seeing those smiling faces when Santa arrives on the fire truck.

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all and we are looking forward to seeing you Christmas Eve.”

The St Leonards-Indented Head Santa Run will begin at 6pm at Batman Reserve Caravan Park in Indented Head.

Santa will spend about 10-15 minutes at each location before moving on.
