FAB Expo to highlight diverse services and products available on the Bellarine
FOR all those who are retired, nearing retirement, new to the Bellarine, have ageing parents or friends and wonder what is available on the Bellarine, then an upcoming expo will answer a lot of questions.
Bellarine Aged Care Association (BACA) is hosting the FAB EXPO (Friendly Ageing on the Bellarine) next month to demonstrate and explain what is available on the Bellarine to assist everyone as they grow older.
BACA encourages everyone to come along to the Christian College, 40 Collins St in Drysdale on Friday October 4 to see more than 60 exhibitors displaying the diverse services and products available on the Bellarine.
Come long and meet and chat to the exhibitors who are participating.
Exhibitors range from community groups, including social, hobby, walking, exercise and environmental groups, through to available health care services and home supports, home and medical equipment providers and legal and financial advice services and residential aged care and end of life care options and funeral services and more.
BACA has attempted to attract a broad range of exhibitors to cover all aspects so residents on the Bellarine can grow older secure they are aware of all that is available to help them live happily and healthy lives.
BACA has been active on the Bellarine since 2014 as an advocacy and support group for the ageing population.
BACA is keenly involved in working in co-operation with community organizations/ groups, Local Government, and Government Departments to focus on what we need to ensure the needs of our ageing community is met.
Come along, enjoy the exhibition, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and listen to local music groups entertain all who attend.
The Expo starts at 10am until 3pm, with Libby Coker MP officially opening the Expo at 11am.
