Seagulls continue to dominate Battle
BARWON Heads continued its recent Battle of the Bridge domination when it beat Ocean Grove at the weekend.
The Seagulls defeated the Grubbers by 26 points (78 to 52) at Ray Menzies Oval on Saturday, which means they have now won the past nine meetings between the two sides.
Barwon Heads last played Ocean Grove in Round 3 at Howard Harmer Oval when they won 78 to 57.
If Barwon Heads can beat Geelong Amateur at Howard Harmer Oval this Saturday, they will make their minor premiership a certainty.
However, the Seagulls face a Geelong Amateur line-up keen to lock away the double chance as quickly as possible.
The Seagulls also won the Battle of the Bridge in netball, beating Ocean Grove by 13 goals.
