Seagulls welcome sponsors to 2019 BFL season

THE Barwon Heads Football Netball Club (BHFNC) committee has celebrated the start of its 2019 season with an event to welcome and thank its loyal sponsors.
About 50 guests attended, including sponsors, BHFNC committee and AFL Barwon regional general manager Will McGregor.
Held at Barwon Heads Hotel last week, club president Tim Goddard spoke about the importance of sponsors to the club, the growth of the club and the “Battle of the Breaks” against Torquay, in which a specially manufactured surfboard trophy
was the prize.
Mr McGregor also spoke about how BHFNC was recognised as being at the forefront of clubs in the AFL Barwon region, highlighting female football participation, club growth, club website and an extremely well supported sponsorship program.
Mr McGregor spoke on a variety of topics, including promotion and relegation in the AFL Barwon leagues.
