A SPARKLY Afternoon in Ocean Grove at the weekend raised an impressive $10,000 for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

The Pink Day organised by the Ocean Grove Football Netball Club proved to be a great afternoon.

And it wouldn’t have been made possible without major sponsors PW Glass Group, One Day Estate and Sinnot Plumbing.

“It was a great day with all the One Day Estate Champagne selling out and The Roberta’s Tasting Table was very popular,” organiser Megan McKnight said.

“Many ladies took home wonderful prizes donated by our girls’ football and netball teams, as well as the wider business community.

“We have been overwhelmed with the generosity and support.”

Ms McKnight said it was great to see senior netballers wearing the pink dress and the men’s football supporting the day by wearing pink socks.

The senior women footballers also wore pink socks on the Sunday.
