Sponsors treated to lunch and winning game

THE Barwon Heads Football Netball Club Sponsors Lunch for the 2019 season was held at the BeachHouse in Barwon Heads at the weekend.
A vast majority of club sponsors attended and were treated to a two-course luncheon while special guest Kelli Underwood was interviewed by BHFNC member Sarah Shaw.
Kelli, well known for her work as a radio and TV sports journalist and broadcaster, is host of the ABC program – Offsiders as well as a key panelist on Foxtel’s The Back Page.
Kelli gave the gathered guests an interesting insight into her background and her eventual entry into broadcasting – especially as a trailblazer in the male dominated area of calling AFL games.
After lunch, guests walked across to Howard Hamer Oval to watch Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove play off in the Battle of the Bridge.
