St Leonards students share their recycling bin prototypes

ST Leonards Primary School has designed and constructed some recycling bin prototypes which can be found in local shops for display and use.
The Grade 3-6 pupils and their teacher Sam Nicholson visited the St Leonards Beautification Committee Meeting last week to present their recycling bin prototypes.
The students had designed and constructed them during Term 3 STEAM lessons when studying the focus “Sustainability – Sharing our Planet.”
The pupils spoke to an interested audience and answered any questions.
Denis O’Bryan, convener of the St Leonards Beautification Meeting, thanked the students for attending and sharing their knowledge with the local community.
