State Trustees offers free wills to seniors

THE public trustee for Victoria is offering free wills to all Victorian seniors throughout the month of October.

State Trustees – a premier partner of the Victorian Seniors Festival – says it is making this very special, limited time offer because having an up-to-date will is so important for older generations, and price should be no barrier to making a Will.

All Victorians aged over 60 will be offered a free one-hour will appointment.

During the appointment an expert will writer will help prepare the will. This offer can be used to prepare a new will or update an existing will.

In addition, State Trustees are offering a 20 percent discount for wills made by the family and friends of all Victorian seniors.

“It’s time to celebrate the seniors in our community,” State Trustees executive general manager Josie Brown said.

“They’ve built the country we live in, and they made the home we grew up in. Their legacies have taken a life time to build and deserve to be protected.

“State Trustees believe that having an up-todate Will is the best way to protect their legacies.

That’s why during the month of October we’re offering free Wills to all Victorian seniors. “To secure this offer make sure you contact us soon, as the offer closes on October 31.”
