Sun shines on Drysdale carols

DRYSDALE Primary School held its inaugural Christmas Carol Spectacular under beautiful sunshine last week.

A choir of about 30 eager pupils performed a repertoire of songs in front of a large and appreciative crowd of families, staff and friends.

The pupils, expertly led by performing arts teacher Kethly Hemsworth and ably assisted by parent Lisa Jones, had been rehearsing the songs at lunchtimes over the last four weeks.

The afternoon concluded with Santa hitching a ride from the Drysdale CFA to come and talk to the excited children.
