SURF COAST TIMES HAS HOUSE’S NEW ROOM ALL SEWN UP

MONEY raised at the Torquay Cup (sponsored by the Surf Coast Times) has helped renovate the Multipurpose Hub at Spring Creek Community House. The newly-refurbished hub – which can be used for a variety of purposes including computer and sewing classes (as seen here) – will be just one of the facilities on show today (Thursday, November 1) as the house celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The celebrations at the house at 14 Price Street include an open day from 10am- 3pm and an evening program featuring official presentations and singing from the Torquay Community Men’s Shed.
