The Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo

LOVE the outdoors? Then The Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo is the place for you.

A large selection of local and interstate exhibitors will be on site for the event, which starts tomorrow (Friday, May 6) at 11am and concludes on Sunday, May 8 at 4pm.

This three-day event, held at the Ballarat Showgrounds, will showcase everything from the latest in caravans, campervans and camper trailers, 4wds and 4×4 accessories with retailer demonstrations, and adventure and travel inspirations.

“We’re very excited to be bringing The Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo back to the Ballarat Showgrounds,” said Rod Lockwood, owner of The Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo.

“A place synonymous with the great city of Ballarat, we felt that it was only right to continue delivering Ballarat’s only caravan, camping and 4×4 show at the venue.

“On the back of a well-received Expo in Mornington, we will be continuing to follow government mandates requiring proof of COVID vaccination or valid exemption.

We’ll also have a door prize for one lucky event attendee to win. Thanks to EE Day & Sons, we’ll be giving away a Minelab Metal Detector and equipment.”

There are bargains galore available at The Ballarat Great Outdoor and 4×4 Expo.

The Expo will also include camping gear, home and vehicle accessories and a unique range of outdoor furniture and wares from boutique businesses.

Many exhibitors will be offering ‘show specials’, meaning they’ll be offering discounted pricing for their products. Make sure you drop in and grab yourself a bargain – because who doesn’t love a good deal?

Who is at the Expo?

You name it, the Expo has got it. Caravans? Hiltop Caravans, Leader, Blue Sky, Atlantic and many other notable retailers will be exhibiting.

Looking for campers? There’ll be Austrack, Cub Campers, Conqueror and Silverback to name a few.

There are car brands such as Isuzu, Ford, Toyota and Jeep and 4×4 accessory companies Opposite Lock and Ocam.

There’ll also be a large range of boutique traders present to cover everything in between.

Where is the Expo?

The Expo will be held at the Ballarat Showgrounds from May 6-8.

Friday, May 6, 11am-5pm

Saturday, May 7, 10am-5pm

Sunday, May 8, 10am-4pm

Adults $16, concessions $13, and Under 16s are free. Eftpos available for Entry. Tickets only available at the gate.

Under COVID safe Victorian Government rules, all exhibitors and visitors will need to bring proof of COVID vaccination or valid exemption to enter the Expo.
