FOR those leaving school, getting back into the workforce, gaining experience or seeking extra hours in the region over summer, the Tourism Jobs Bank app is a must-have resource to help with your job search.

Whether you’re looking for a change or fresh start in the vibrant tourism sector, there are all levels of jobs available for both skilled and unskilled workers to join the industry.

The Tourism Jobs Bank app (available for iOS or Android) lists jobs vacancies in Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Great Ocean Road and Grampians regions.

There are vacancies listed from management and supervisor roles to front of house waiting and bar jobs, to chefs, beauticians, reception and housekeeping jobs.

Whether you’re looking for a job close to home or looking to work on the coast for summer or for good, there are jobs listed in central Geelong, Ocean Grove and Queenscliff, along the Great Ocean Road and in the Otways, right through to Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland.

The app is free to use and it is as simple as matching with jobs by skills or searching via a map and then giving the jobs you want to apply for a “thumbs up”.

A large range of businesses are listing jobs on the app from small cafes to some of the region’s highest calibre restaurants such as Brae.

Jobs are listed in central Geelong, Ocean Grove and Queenscliff, along the Great Ocean Road and the Otways, through to Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland.

 

The range of fun and interesting places to work in tourism around the region includes jobs on cellar doors on the Bellarine, surf instructors in Torquay, working at 13th Beach Golf Club, Searoad Ferries, the new Ceres Distilling Co, Deep Blue Hot Springs or even at Treetops Adventure.

Tourism and hospitality businesses located in Geelong, the Bellarine, Great Ocean Road and Grampians regions can use the Tourism Jobs Banks by registering and listing jobs for free, thanks to the project co-ordinated by Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism with Tourism Greater Geelong and the Bellarine, Grampians Tourism and the support of the Victorian government.
