Victoria and Christos Kyvetos sought the assistance and talent of Resio, a well-known Melbourne artist to create a colourful abstract on the wall of their St Leonards business.

A WELL-KNOWN Melbourne artist has created a masterpiece that has transformed a large dull concrete wall in St Leonards into one that has brought life to the town.

Victoria Kyvetos and her husband Christos own and operate Lenny’s Ice-Cream Lab located at 1367 Murradoc Road, which they opened in November 2018.

Victoria and Christos sought the assistance and talent of Resio, a well-known Melbourne artist to create a vibrant, modern, and colourful abstract that encompasses bright colours.

“After months of planning, discussions, design and ideas he has created a masterpiece that has turned a large dull concrete wall that was tarnished by tagging and graffiti into a wall that has brought life to our town and that has become a topic of discussion,” Victoria said.

“The feedback we have received to date has been amazing, not only from Denis and Laura from the St Leonards Beautification Committee, a number of locals posting photos and positive comments via the St Leonards Community Information Page, but also visitors from surrounding suburbs who have popped their head in the door to let us know that they have come down to St Leonards to view the art work.

“We hope that people respect the artwork and are optimistic of the good that it will bring to the town.”

Victoria and Christos are Geelong locals who call St Leonards their second home, as they have holidayed in St Leonards for the past 20 years due to both of their families having holiday houses in St Leonards.
