Victory fans flock to Geelong waterfront

January 12, 2018 BY

A WAVE of blue and white fans took over the Geelong waterfront last Thursday morning – but this time, it had nothing to do with the Cats.

Two days before the A-League “Coastal Clash” with the Central Coast Mariners at GMHBA Stadium, Melbourne Victory held a family day at Steampacket Gardens, which drew a big crowd.

A-League players Mark Milligan, Rhys Williams, Jai Ingham and Victory captain Carl Valeri were on hand to sign hundreds of autographs for keen supporters.

Other attractions included the Transport Accident Commission’s “Kick Towards Zero” inflatable soccer target for fans to take aim at, an inflatable soccer pitch that hosted short but energetic games of five-a-side, competitions and giveaways.
