Volunteers needed for Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House Project

THE Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House is undertaking a project to assess the interests and needs of the local community and is on the lookout for volunteers.

The house is conducting this assessment to ascertain if its current programs meet the needs of the community and how they can improve the program delivery.

A project co-ordinator has been assigned to conduct this assessment with the support of volunteers from the community.

The house is therefore seeking volunteers to assist the Project Co-ordinator to:

  • Take notes during interviews/focus groups/ kitchen table conferences
  • Develop a SurveyMonkey
  • Draft emails and social media posts
  • Collect and analyse data
  • Discuss data
  • Assist in drafting a report.

Volunteers should preferably have an interest in community development and have some of the following skills or who feel confident in any of these areas:

  • Communication skills
  • Computer skills eg Excel, MS Word and social media
  • Writing skills
  • An interest in Data Analysis
