A weekend of golden entertainment

March 14, 2018 BY

A big crowd turned out to see Jen Cloher.

THE Golden Plains Festival returned for its 12th year at Meredith’s Supernatural Amphitheatre at the weekend.

The festival was hot, balmy, breezy, fresh… and golden.

Most extraordinary performances included Thundercat, Perfume Genius, King Krule, and Kamasi Washington on Saturday, plus Wet Lips, Kaiit, Rocket Science, Jen Cloher, and Lee Fields & The Expressions on Sunday.

Golden Plains XII happens over two days and two nights in glorious autumn in the greatest of outdoors at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre.

The first Golden Plains Festival rolled out in 2007 and still has a commitment to constant improvement.

GPXII was the same shape, same size, and still proudly and genuinely BYO – not just in the campgrounds but the Amphitheatre – with no commercial sponsors, the one and only stage, and best-practice services and facilities.
