Welcome to St Aloysius

November 17, 2023 BY

The holistic approach at St Aloysius has created a community culture of care for one another and high ambition for student learning outcomes.

St Aloysius Catholic Primary School, a small but beautiful school in the Borough of Queenscliffe, is small, inclusive and community focused.

Miriam Leahy has been principal at St Aloysius since 2022 and part of the St Aloysius staff since 2015.

“With an existing enrolment of 90 students, we are able to keep our class sizes small and our teaching learning genuinely targeted to each child’s individual point of need,” she said.

“We have a very highly qualified staff of teachers who care in equal measure about the social and emotional well-being of students and their academic progress.

“This holistic approach has created a community culture of care for one another and high ambition for student learning outcomes.”

She said St Aloysisu valued the role of parents as partners in every step of the learning journey.

“Our parent community are well connected with teachers and classrooms through open classroom prayer every morning, parents helper opportunities, a range of digital communication tools and get to know each other through P & F and the School Advisory Board.

“I invite you to experience our fabulous school through a tour with myself so you can see what a unique and vibrant community we have at St Aloysius.”

St Aloysius Catholic Primary School is at 34 Stevens Street, Queenscliff.
