Armstrong Creek Town Centre includes 33 specialty shops with many national household known brands among the list.

STAGE one of the landmark $1 billion Armstrong Creek Town Centre is set to open in July 2020.

This stage incorporates a significant retail hub, with Coles and Liquorland as the major tenants, and due to its prominent position setback off the Surf Coast Highway, has been closely watched by the thousands of passers-by daily.

The retail hub includes 33 specialty shops with many national household known brands among the list.

Terry White Chemist, Tatts, and Hi Sushi are all set to open, along with specialty shops and services, Beauty Genesis, Coral Massage and a range of food operators.

The greater Town Centre project, led by the Welsh Group, spans over 40 hectares and will include a movie theatre, health and wellness services, public library and world-class hotel and conference centre.

A focus on connectivity throughout is evident with a central town square creating versatile pedestrian links between the commercial, residential, retail and entertainment precincts.

With a tree-lined main street and enviable views across the wetlands, the Armstrong Creek Town Centre will be ‘lifestyle and business playground’.

It will serve as an epicentre for both residents of Armstrong Creek and the Surf Coast, as well as the high volume of seasonal visitors the region attracts each year.

The development is further testament to former Essendon footballer Andrew Welsh’s continued investment into the greater Geelong area and facilitation of thousands of ongoing jobs for locals.

The Armstrong Creek growth corridor will accommodate the bulk of Geelong and the region’s growth in the near future, with the Town Centre project providing much needed infrastructure and convenience for residents through shopping outlets, restaurants, services and abundant car park numbers.
