A 45m ice toboggan and a towering new drop ride are among the additions to one of the Bellarine’s biggest winter attractions this year.

Adventure Park’s Winter Glow festival has returned for its sixth season, with organisers expanding the event’s snow play and ride offerings alongside its popular light displays and family activities.

The ice toboggan allows visitors to ride inflatable tubes down a frozen track, while the new drop zone rises 20m above the park.

The attractions join Winter Glow favourites including an indoor snow zone featuring 300 tonnes of real snow, a 2.5km light trail, live ice sculpting demonstrations and marshmallow roasting.

Adventure Park managing director Leanne Salmon said the park had focused on building on the festival’s success.

“With Winter Glow entering its sixth year, we really wanted to raise the bar. By increasing the amount of real snow and introducing the ice toboggan, we’re making that high-country magic accessible to everyone,” she said.

“Winter Glow has become a cherished family tradition, and with a new drop tower ride plus extended dates running right through August, we can’t wait to welcome more families than ever.”

Winter Glow runs until 29 August.
