Word is tickets are still available for Port event

TICKETS are still available for Portarlington’s annual literary event Midwinter Words, which is on July 21 and 22.

The weekend will feature a full-day writing workshop followed by a writers’ breakfast with readings.

Dr Lee Kofman will present the workshop, Developing the Writer’s Voice, on July 21 in the Bayview Room at Park’s Hall from 10am to 4pm.

A breakfast will be held at Saints & Sailors Seafood Bar & Grill on July 22 from 10am to 11.30am.

The breakfast will give participants from the workshop an opportunity to read their work. Workshop tickets at $60 each are available at the Portarlington Neighourhood House, with breakfast tickets at $15 each.
