Workplace death in Lara under investigation

A man has died following a workplace incident in Lara on Tuesday.

Emergency services, including Advanced Life Support and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance paramedics, were called to a site on Forest Road shortly after 8am.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Victoria Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

WorkSafe will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
