Another big Barwon Heads auction result

THERE was lots of excitement on Saturday as Bellarine Property brought 32 Ozone Road, Barwon Heads to auction.

The property had generated an enormous amount of interest during its sales campaign.

Bellarine Property sales consultant Peta Walter said that they were anticipating an exciting auction day with the property receiving not only a high volume of enquiry, but also having more than 66 groups inspect the home, with 14 contracts of sale provided prior to auction.

“On the day, we saw a strong crowd attend with bidding launched from a competitive opening bid of $1.15 million,” Ms Walter said. “The property was hotly contested between three parties with 25 bids before finally selling at an amazing price of $1.326 million, which was $176,000 above the reserve.

“The very ecstatic new owners are a young family who plans to enjoy their new home.”
