Auction for Bellarine beachfront opportunity
A RARE slice of seaside Point Lonsdale real estate will go under the hammer tomorrow.
The home at one of the Bellarine towns most sought-after areas at 3 Elizabeth Street, Point Lonsdale has attracted plenty of buyer interest ahead of an auction this weekend.
The property is just three doors down from the water’s edge at Point Lonsdale Front Beach with the inviting ambience of waves crashing at the shore heard throughout its living spaces.
The current two-bedroom dwelling is privately secluded from the main street behind established trees and offer an opportunity for restoration or development.
Kerleys Coastal Real Estate managing director Damian Cayzer said the agency had high hopes of surpassing the property’s $2.3 million price guide.
“[The interest is] due to the location, it’s very close to the Point Lonsdale front beach,” he said.
“It’s a nice-sized lot, around 620 square metres.
“The house is an old weatherboard that I think someone will knock over and start again.”
The auction is scheduled for this Saturday (November 5) at 11am.
