April 11, 2018 BY

For almost 20 years, the Ballarat Furniture Company has been creating fine furniture for all your home’s needs.

With solid timber furniture designs suitable for every room, the company has grown from humble beginnings in a small shed, to a fully-fledged showroom and six craftsmen.

Each employee carefully constructs one piece at a time with works on show at the Albert Street showroom in south Sebastopol (Midland Highway).

Unique furniture items includes dining tables, coffee tables, TV units, bookcases and beds.

Ballarat Furniture Company creates modern and classic styles that suit a variety of interior designs, customers are also guided through various advantages of timbers ensuring the right piece most suitable for your home.

Our custom design service is often used for individual pieces that are unique to each buyer. The workshop is set up to follow a client’s ideas, incorporating measurements, design, timbers and fabrics that deliver a co-ordinated result.

Australian solid timbers are often chosen to provide customers with long lasting furniture pieces that can be enjoyed for years. Tasmanian oak, jarrah, blackwood, redgum, spotted gum and reclaimed hardwood are amongst the most popular.

Ballarat Furniture Company uses one-piece slabs of timber in many of its pieces, showing off the bark edge that is a natural feature of the tree.

To match new housing designs, the use of steel and powder coated leg designs is common in many of Ballarat Furniture Company’s latest creations.

This can give a modern feel to a statement piece that coordinates with open plan living areas, while still including the warmth of a natural timber top.

Only a 50-minute drive from Geelong and the Surf Coast, the showroom is open Friday to Monday each week; it is a fantastic place to source one-off and quality furniture.

Be it for your living room, dining room, bedroom and office there’s something for every home and regular deliveries to Geelong, Melbourne and country Victoria.
