Blvd Torquay final release will see post-summer bidding war

January 30, 2018 BY

AFTER an overwhelming response to all four land releases to date, the fifth and final release at Blvd Torquay is set to create a post-summer bidding war with the last three exclusive lots to go under the hammer on March 2.

With last week’s auction of release four smashing all records for the development, which saw Lot 9 sell for $1.15 million after a hard-fought 43 bids, the interest is peaking in what will be the very last chance to buy into this exclusive Bells Beach gateway community.

Property Exchange Group managing director and Blvd Torquay selling agent Alex Lyons said that the interest had been extraordinary, with a distinct flavour of young families from out of town looking to make a lifestyle move to the Surf Coast.

“Torquay’s lifestyle is relaxed; drenched in surfing history and coastal culture, while still being connected to first-class education, health, job opportunities, transport and amenities, all within a close proximity to Geelong and Melbourne,” Mr Lyons said.

“The Saturday open for inspections have been a real eye-opener for prospective purchasers, offering the ability to walk the site, observe the natural beauty of the surrounding vegetation and get a clear understanding of the ocean views from each location.

“There are almost no ‘blank canvas’ acreage lots with ocean views available in Torquay so we expect this final release to be hotly contested, especially with site construction over the halfway mark, settlements anticipated around May/June 2018 and Lot 9 in release four cracking a record price of $1.15 million.”

Offering the incredible combination of a great Torquay location, magnificent ocean views and acreage lifestyle blocks, release five – the final release – offers just three exclusive lots to be auctioned on March 2 at 7pm.

Potential purchasers can take advantage of the magnificent ocean views on offer at Blvd from a 7.5-metre-high viewing platform on each lot available in each release.

Blvd Torquay site tours are available every Saturday 11am-1pm.
