Club Armstrong extension will include communal office space for residents
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance will become much easier for Armstrong residents as Villawood commits to supporting their community with the impending Club Armstrong upgrade.
This additional space will reflect the change in how people have lived and worked over recent years, and includes a new flexible workspace option for residents, as an alternative to working from home.
The $2 million extension is well under way at Mount Duneed’s Club Armstrong with the two-storey facility set to host a range of community use features.
The sleek ClarkeHopkinsClarke-designed club upgrade, being built by Spence Constructions for developer Villawood Properties, will be connected to the club’s existing shed, previously used as a community men’s shed.
This will create a ground-floor multi-purpose room of 180sqm with storage areas, kitchenette, and amenity/washroom.
A second ground floor space will be a multi-purpose 45sqm space, which can operate as a shared home office space opening to a north-facing deck.
The upper level will be a mid-size, multi-purpose room, accessible by stairs and an internal lift.
This room will have direct access to a north-facing balcony, with views over the club’s resort pool and back to the main Club Armstrong building.
Construction is forecast for completion by the end of the year.
The new communal office space will provide residents a new flexible workspace option, as an alternative to working from home.
Club Armstrong features first-class facilities and recreational spaces available exclusively to eligible Armstrong residents who are finding it popular with the café, gym, tennis courts, swimming pools and function space to kick back and relax.
The beauty of Club Armstrong, the social heart of the Armstrong community, is that it’s much more than a resort-style club with a luxurious feel.
It’s the nucleus of the Armstrong Mount Duneed community, a central meeting place close to home and a welcoming haven for residents to catch up with neighbours and make new friends.
