Award-winning builder Coastyle loves to work closely with clients, hear their stories, understand what they want and deliver the perfect home.
Based on the Bellarine for more than 10 years, the company’s staff are locals, use local trades and local suppliers, and want to help build the community.
Coastyle was named the HIA Victorian Professional Small Builder 2018 at the HIA awards night on Friday November 9, making it three years in a row the business has taken home that award.
In 2016, the builder also won the 2016 HIA Victorian Renovation/Addition of the Year $500,001-$700,000 for the renovation of the historical post office in St Leonards.
Coastyle was also a finalist in the HIA Australian Professional Small Builder of the Year 2018. Coastyle has also been finalists in the Geelong Excellence Awards in multiple categories for two years running.
Owner John Ekberg won Apprentice of the Year nearly 40 years ago and has worked hard to create a local business that focusses on workmanship and attention to detail.
“Building is a part of us, our whole team love what they do. We love to work closely with our clients, hear their stories, understand what they want and deliver the perfect home,” he said.
Coastyle specialises in custom builds, double- and single-storey extensions, alterations and renovations, and loves to create outdoor living areas.
They manage the design and preparation stage of the project, offering experience in design and construction input from a builder’s perspective.
