Family secures Old Torquay dream home at auction

LAST week’s auction of an original Old Torquay property located at 14 Geelong Road drew a large crowd with more than 100 people attending the inspections throughout the campaign, to see the property sold to a young local family for $860,000.

With four strong bidders made up of locals, investors and developers, the property was sold for $60,000 above expectations.

Branch manager Reece Beckley said it was great to see a young local family secure a well-loved family home.
