Hayeswinckle enjoys Bellarine bonanza

Successful bidders David Woodhouse and Michelle Wright were excited to have secured 34 High Street, Drysdale at auction.

THE Bellarine market continues to gain momentum as investors and homebuyers see value in what was once an undervalued market.

Drysdale’s most recently established boutique real estate agency, Hayeswinckle, has seen exceptional growth in the Bellarine market, and their results continue to impress.

Two of their recent auctions in Drysdale and Indented Head saw vendors delighted with the results as both properties smashed through their reserve prices.

An older style three-bedroom brick home at 34 High Street, Drysdale sold at auction for $537,000 as three keen bidders pushed the price $77,000 above the reserve.

In Indented Head, Hayeswinckle’s auction of 477 Hood Road saw four bidders battle it out until the hammer fell at $470,000, which was $50,000 above the vendors reserve.

Hayeswinckle Drysdale director Grace Borg said that the auctions were great results.

“The vendors are extremely happy, and the buyers have managed to secure the properties they wanted,” Ms Borg said.

“This comes off the back of the current buoyant market that remains strong across the Bellarine, where we are seeing fantastic results, not only at our auctions, but also with our private sale homes.

“The suburb we have found in most demand is Clifton Springs. We are used to seeing large numbers though opens, and competitive bidding to secure a home in this bayside town.

“Our main category of clientele has been purchasers from out of town looking to buy a holiday investment, holiday home or investment for the future, everybody wants to secure a piece of the Bellarine while they can.”
