Hotondo Ocean Grove recognised for excellence

The team from Hotondo Homes in Ocean Grove have every reason to celebrate after being named the Professional Builder of the Year in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Local builders Aaron and Sarah Anstis couldn’t be prouder of the achievement after being named finalists for the award for the past five years.

“The quality of builders in the Hotondo Homes network is really high, it’s such a privilege to be recognised for our work,” Aaron said.

“We’ve come very close every year since 2015 and the past year has been very challenging, which makes this win even more special!”

The accolade recognises the builder who has demonstrated excellence within their business, based on their customer experience rating, turnover, market share, growth and profitability.

“Our business like so many others in our region had to adapt to COVID-19, but we actually consider ourselves lucky that we were able to continue to operating during this time,” Aaron said.

He attributed the ongoing success of the business to the excellent relationships they have with their team, clients, suppliers and trades.

“We couldn’t have done this without our team, they play such a huge role in our success, we just wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for them.”

It’s a year of continued success for the team after Hotondo Homes was recently named Australia’s #1 home builder in customer excellence.

“We strive to provide an exceptional customer service experience to every client, and to receive recognition for this means we are definitely on the right track,” Aaron said.

The team also won the HIA Western Region Display Home of the Year for their gorgeous Tarkine 238 in the Oakdene Estate in Ocean Grove.

“Despite all of the challenges that were thrown at us this year we managed to achieve all of this, which is so exciting,” Aaron said.

“We’re planning for an even bigger 2021, we’re currently building not one but two new display homes in Armstrong Creek!”
