Jan Juc old timer snapped up by local identity

February 9, 2022 BY

A MASSIVE crowd of more than 150 people was on hand Saturday to see One Agency’s auction of 24 Muirfield Avenue in Jan Juc.

The great two-level old timer attracted more than 80 inspections throughout the campaign, and there was no surprise to see six active bidders engage from the first bid of $1,300,000.

The reserve of $1,425,000 was quickly surpassed to see a late bidder and local business identity knock the competition out of the water with several firm bids, securing the property for $1,715,000.

Auctioneer Steve Menegazzo said it was an unbelievable result for their vendors with strong interest on the property throughout the campaign, which resulted in a price beyond expectations.

“Strong bidding on the day of auction certainly helped, and most of the bidding was from locals wanting to secure a quality home in a Blue Chip location of Jan Juc,” Mr Menegazzo said.

“The most rewarding part of our job is when you get an awesome result for your clients after they have put in all the hard work and effort.

“It was one of the largest crowds I have seen at an auction for a long while which was testament to the location and presentation of the property we were selling.”

One Agency Surf Coast have sold four Jan Juc properties this summer with some exceptional results.
