Metricon's new display homes will include this Marion 42 double-storey display home in Armstrong Creek along with many more.

Metricon, recently crowned Australia’s largest builder by HIA for the eighth consecutive year, is making further substantial investment in Geelong and western Victoria with more than $10 million being committed to new display homes in the region this financial year.

This area has consistently attracted significant interest from new homebuyers due to the liveability and robust infrastructure, making it the perfect choice for families looking to build their dream homes.

Metricon’s substantial investment underscores its commitment to the region’s growth.

The great thing about Metricon’s extensive range of home designs, honed over 47 years of industry excellence and innovation, is that there’s bound to be a floorplan design that appeals to everyone’s lifestyle, goals, and budget considerations within the new displays openings.

Metricon’s new display homes are planned for high-growth and popular areas, including a new design Riva 44 display home in Leopold featuring a fantastic light filled void, three new display homes Armstrong Creek, including the Lloyd 25 and the first Marion 42 double storey display home, and a Seaton 26RR by HomeSolution.

Additionally, two new Freedom homes, including the Delta 25 and Glendale 42A, both with new facades, will be built in the Lucas Estate Ballarat.

Finally, Metricon is starting construction on the Delta 25S in Warrnambool in early 2024.

As modern lifestyle requirements have evolved, the regional shift and desire for open-plan living, multigenerational options, low-maintenance homes and a strong demand for more space are just some of the lifestyles catered for in the planned new displays.

All homes have or will commence construction this financial year and each will feature family-friendly and popular open-plan designs and new innovative facades.

With such a wide variety of display homes being built, all budgets and requirements will be showcased.

Metricon regional west manager Simon Taylor said the builder had seen high levels of interest in these stunning designs in these areas.

“The demand for well-designed, sustainable homes in picturesque coastal and rural locations with easy access to transportation and essential amenities has accelerated our investment in the region for this financial year and beyond.

“The west is a thriving region in Victoria, and we are proud to work with so many fantastic suppliers and subcontractors who will help us continue to grow and build our customers their dream homes.

“It is no secret that the building industry has faced numerous challenges, but we have continued to recognise the significant growth and opportunities in regional West.”

Metricon has been building in Geelong for nearly 25 years, and are dedicated to construct not only the best quality homes but also the most family-friendly ones across a wide range of budgets.

Mr Taylor said the company was honoured to be trusted to build so many homes in this community.

“It is a testament to the strength and viability of Metricon as a business here in the west and beyond.”
