Regional Victoria continues to grow with Australia’s largest volume builder, Metricon, leading the way for new home buyers looking to build in the regions, with a myriad of new displays and designs in the pipeline.

Metricon’s confidence in this sector of the market is backed by this substantial investment surge in regional Victoria.

With an unprecedented 16 new display homes slated to open in 2024, Metricon has solidified its commitment to the region, with a total of $20 million invested in local display homes across the past 18 months.

The unveiling of these state-of-the-art display homes marks a significant milestone in Metricon’s expansion strategy.

Additionally, Ballarat welcomes two impressive Freedom homes – the Delta 25 with a Summit façade and the Glendale 42A featuring a Modern façade at Lucas Grange.

Further scheduled openings in late April, May, and June promise not only lucrative investment opportunities but also a plethora of substantial homes in picturesque locations, catering specifically to regional Victorian’s various budgets and lifestyles.

Metricon general manager of regional housing in Victoria, Phil Barrett, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s continued investment in regional display homes.

“The unprecedented demand we’ve witnessed underscores the enduring appeal of our designs, both for homeowners and investors alike,”

he said.

“Our commitment to quality and family-friendly living remains steadfast.

“Metricon’s extensive range of home designs, refined over nearly five decades, ensures there’s a floorplan to suit every lifestyle and budget.

“From open-plan layouts to innovative facades, our new display homes reflect the evolving needs of modern families.”

The new displays are fuelling market interest, leading to March being one of Metricon’s best sales months in Victoria, with the buying public inspired by the new displays and seizing the opportunity to benefit from our incredible promotional packages.

Homebuyers are also keen to capitalise on savings before the introduction of the new NCC 7-star regulations, which are expected to substantially increase home prices since their introduction at the start of this month.

Mr Barrett said regional Victoria’s thriving landscape further fuelled Metricon’s expansion efforts.

“The demand for homes in coastal and rural areas continues to surge, prompting Metricon to accelerate our display network expansion.

“We are privileged to collaborate with exceptional local suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring we deliver dream homes that exceed expectations.”
