New office, same fantastic product for Calco

For decades, family-owned-and-operated Calco Trusses and Timber has been servicing the Geelong and surrounding regions.

Originally saw millers back in Colac, the business has now developed into premier prefabricators and merchandisers of structural timber.

Servicing the local market in the residential and commercial space as well as large growth areas within Melbourne, Calco Trusses and Timber employs 110 staff.

A significant office upgrade at the company’s 20-acre Barwon Avenue site, utilised many local trades and is now home to 50 sales, design and management staff.

Designed by local architects and managed in house, the office design is a mix of modern industrial with polished concrete floors and extensive use of timber flooring, open plan mezzanine design with exposed trusses.

The project demonstrates Calco’s commitment to continuous improvement in providing better facilities for staff and customer interaction as well as a driving strong position in the market for the future.

It also demonstrates Calco’s commitment to the Geelong and surrounding regions by undergoing such an investment.

More recently Calco has diversified into the supply of the BGC Innova cladding range and has installed a comprehensive display.
