Regional win for luxurious Metricon display

A FYANSFORD display home has won acclaim as a standout in its field, with Metricon’s design being awarded the best in western Victoria.

The Artisan 55 home, part of the builder’s Designer range, won the best display home over $750,000 category at the Housing Industry Association Western Victoria Regional Housing Awards at Torquay’s RACV resort earlier this month.

The Gen Fyansford display features a striking Pacific façade in a design Metricon says takes “contemporary living to a new level”.

The two-storey home has three living spaces, five bedrooms all with ensuites and an expansive floorplan that includes a walk-in pantry, home theatre, wine room, and powder and leisure rooms.

Artisan 55 also has two statement voids at the home’s entry and kitchen, including feature timber ceilings with modern pedants to maximise natural light and a sense of grand space.

Outside, there’s also an alfresco dining area that can be opened to link with the dining room and kitchen inside to create a large entertaining space.

Metricon said its team, trade and suppliers had taken great pride in the win.

The builder’s regional west manager Simon Taylor said the project had been a “wonderful privilege to showcase”.

The display home is open every day at 3 Dell Boulevard, Fyansford from 11am to 5pm.
